Staying for just one night, our guests were able to experience a little bit of life on the farm, feeding the horses and the chickens, playing with Travis and Kaylee, swimming in the pool, and spotting kangaroos.

A great recipe for Banana Cake

All you need is:
125 grams of butter
2 eggs
2 cups of self raising flour
1/2 cup milk (with a level teaspoon of bi-carb soda disolved in it)
Pinch of salt
2 ripe bananas
1 cup of sugar.

Now ….

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat, add flour milk and finely mashed bananas

Bake for 30 minutes in a moderate oven.

Cream or ice with lemon or passionfruit icing.

Our red chook is sitting on eggs.

It has nearly been three weeks, so we are expecting chickens any day now.

The farmstay was the perfect space to spread out with young children

‘The farmstay was the perfect space to spread out with young children.

The kids loved watching the horses, playing in the pool, feeding the chooks and dancing on the lawns.

The clawfoot baths were a treat for us all. Plenty of room for cups of tea or BBBQs on the large deck.
We had a great family reunion at Magpie Creek. …….. Naomi and Family
